Terms of Service
These Terms of Service govern your use of the Capital 7 Logistics (Serving NEPA) website and your purchase or use of our Handyman Services and Property Maintenance. By accessing the website, requesting an estimate, scheduling work, approving a proposal, making a payment, or allowing services to proceed, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the website or request services. Additional written estimates, proposals, work orders, or project-specific agreements may supplement these terms. If a conflict exists, the more specific written project document controls only for that project.
1. Acceptance of Terms
You represent that you have authority to use the website, request services, and approve work for the property involved. If you act for an owner, tenant, business, association, or another person, you represent that you are authorized to do so. Our company may update these terms from time to time by posting a revised version on the website. Changes generally apply prospectively to future website use and service arrangements. Continued use after a revision indicates acceptance. Service availability may vary by location, property condition, crew availability, weather, materials, permits, and project scope.
2. Service Description
Our company provides general Handyman Services and comprehensive Property Maintenance, which may include repairs, installations, upkeep, painting, fixture work, minor improvements, seasonal maintenance, inspections, and related tasks agreed upon in writing. The exact scope, materials, labor, price, schedule, and exclusions should be confirmed in an estimate, proposal, work order, or other project communication. An estimate may be based on information available at the time and may change if the scope changes, conditions are concealed, materials become unavailable, or additional labor is reasonably required.
We may recommend subcontractors, specialty professionals, permits, engineering, inspections, or other services when work exceeds our capabilities or legal authority. Unless expressly stated otherwise, we do not provide architectural, engineering, legal, environmental, pest-control, electrical, plumbing, roofing, structural, or other licensed specialty services beyond the scope specifically accepted. We may decline work that appears unsafe, unlawful, outside our expertise, or likely to damage property.
Appointments are based on reasonable scheduling efforts rather than guaranteed arrival times unless a written agreement expressly states otherwise. Weather, emergencies, traffic, supply delays, access problems, and other events may require rescheduling. Materials may be substituted with reasonably comparable materials when approved or when the original material is unavailable, subject to applicable law and project terms.
3. User Responsibilities
You must provide accurate project information, identify known hazards and defects, obtain required owner or tenant permissions, secure pets and valuables, provide safe and reasonable access, and ensure that utilities or other property systems needed for the work are available. You are responsible for moving fragile or valuable items from work areas unless the project agreement states otherwise. You must promptly review estimates, approve changes, and communicate any concerns.
You may not use the website to submit unlawful, abusive, fraudulent, threatening, defamatory, or misleading content, interfere with website operation, attempt unauthorized access, introduce malicious code, or impersonate another person. You are responsible for information submitted through your account or devices and for protecting any credentials used to access website features. If hidden damage, hazardous materials, code concerns, infestation, unsafe wiring, structural instability, or other unexpected conditions are discovered, we may pause work until the condition is evaluated and a revised scope is approved.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, invoices are due according to the payment terms provided with the estimate or invoice. You are responsible for approved materials, labor, taxes, disposal charges, permit fees, change orders, and other disclosed project costs. Late or unpaid balances may result in paused work, cancellation, collection activity, or lawful remedies. You should not withhold an undisputed amount because of a separate concern.
4. Liability Limitations
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our company and its owners, employees, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost rental income, loss of use, business interruption, loss of data, or damage to personal property arising from or related to website use or services. We are not responsible for a
